Leo Started It

Today while I was driving around with a friend I was listening to another friend's play list and I was thinking how nice it is that Leo has a thoughtful girlfriend. I don't mean sentimental (she may be that, but I don't know) but I mean full of thoughts, one who thinks... a woman that chosen her music well. That is who she is.

I find it a joy when I meet a woman of thought. As self-righteous as it sounds, we are a rare bred. Many of the girls that I know, I just have to tolerate. I thrive in my relationships with my sister when I can be honest, open, reflective, emotional and intellectual. Accepting but building, not patronizing and hopeless. I love my friends who challenge me to be interdependent, not stuck on myself or sold out to others.

The truth is I have never met this woman in person. I know her though. We share a blogsphere and hear her name mentioned in quite a few different conversations. She has sort of become the mysterious sister-friend. As strange as it is, I am glad that she is a part of my life. Some day I am going to bus up to Suga City just to meet her.

My hat goes off to you, mysterious sister. You too, are a woman phenomenally.

it's nice that you can show genuine admiration for another female without being all insecure about it.

Tracy: I have no idea. It was nice though and it wasn't the first time.

I didn't say any names :)

Leal is BACK! Welcome back to deh Street En bawli. Now will have some great thoughts.

Not that you say it Carrie, you are right. I didn't realize that females no get insecure in another's light. I know I have been guilty of it before.
