The Bus

I love riding the bus. I rode teh bus with my big brother today to Belmopan because he wanted to check on a job and didn't want to go alone.

It rained during the ride and all the windows on the school bus converted for public transportation was hot and steamy. I met a young girl on the bus and we had a nice talk about education and the importance there of. My brother has a harder time. He stood much of the way, and when he did sit, a woman with a young baby in her arms entered the bus and he just had to give up his seat. What a nice guy!

Belize is beautiful when it rains. I wish all my people from abroad have beautiful rain too. There is nothing sweeter then beautiful rain.

Dom you did it again... of course you would think that way, but I still love you...

Reema, you are missing out girl! There is so much adventure in bus riding and other forms of public transportation. I prescribe two motion sickness pills (or camomile tea) and a short bus ride out of your city just to get in touch.

Beinveindo Anastacio! No puedo hablar en Portugesa perro espanol una pocito y en Ingles bein. Beinveindos todo seimpre. Hugs from Belize!

Rain...the mere mention of rain makes me want to dance like a peacock..I even had the good fortune of seeing a peacock spread its wings and dance away.It was a sight to behold. In Canada if it is raining my friends say the weather is so depressing.I have not been able to fathom that.Growing up in India I have seen the monsoon lash across the country. The skies turn pitch black and they burst with fat drops of rain..and heavens ,the earth smells delicious.Peolpe run for cover under anything they can find..How can I begin to explain this?My heart sings in anticipation of rain and oh!yes how can I forget..it used to be the perfect opportunity to sip cups of tea and pakoras(little dumplings made of mixed vegetables, spices, gram flour and deep fried)yum...yum..
