I found it!

When I was a teenager a Sarah Wilkerson gave me a beautiful note book. It had a girlish covered with a blend of pink and purple flowers and photos of naked babies turned into fairies. At first I was not sure what to do with it. Then suddenly it all made sense. I was in second form, away from home, and battling with depression during that time. It was that year that I began to write about how I felt. It was also the year that I discovered that God really did love me (although that is another story). From that year, until the year after I graduated from high school I wrote in my book. Some pages were tore out, and some were used by my classmates to write notes in (we didn't have a yearbook so when we graduated we got "autograph books" I didn't get one, so I used my treasure book instead). I lost my book when moving from Santa Elena to San Ignacio and I have been worried about it ever since (2 years now). Then, last night, I got the inspiration to check the bulky "hope chest" (you have to know my family to understand that one). At the bottom, underneath the dishes and other nuptial stuff, was my fairy book. I found it! It was like finding a long lost friend, or even better, a piece of my soul that was lost through a drug called Busy Life.

Don't be surprised if one of my childish writings finds its way on my blog. Be warned, they are crude and unpolished. Many of them only sing for me.

Funny though. Now purple is my favourite colour, and I think fairies are pretty neat, for what they symbolize.

I have a grey book but I still like red.

Looking forward to reading your pieces. Until then, write away.

hehe...good one..i guess u feel relieved and happy at the same time...in that the book did not fall into the wrong hands...
Just like you too, I use to write out my feelings. However; not in a book or anything as such, but on loose sheets in the form of poems. Mostly for my girlfriend about the way i felt about everything.
One day she got mad at me and tore almost every single one of them. Not knowing she would have done something like that, I never did make copies or anything cuz she was to compile them into a lil book. But that was quite some while back now...Now if I do write anything i have hard copy and soft copy...so i can keep track of the things i write...
Looking forward to reading some of those memories of yours...oh and yeah once you have a broken pipe you can call me..heheh...don't mind..i will make it seem like art rather than just plain joining pipes together..hahaha..

Pipe art? Now that is what you call applied art.

Of course, Sunny. With your passion about a certain red football team, you will always be a red person.

Roy, now you know why I am so secretive about my poems....

That was lovely... I never kept a book like that in high school for fear that my sister or someone will read my intimate thoughts, ah the days of high school... When I moved back here I started to keep a journal , a small spiral bound book with a pink and purple plaid cover. This was my little best friend, it knew everything about my new life and the changes I was going through...how I was feeling on any particular day, not only with words but also with little doodles and colorful pencil pictures... It laughed with me and cried with me (mainly I did the laughing and crying my parents must have thought I was going nuts in my room all by myself)...It took me from the misery of my ex to the joy of my new found love...that's when I stopped writing in it... I recall thinking it wouldn't be fair to my new found love to be documented in the same book as the one that caused me so much pain... now that I think back.. I should have continued....I could have compaired pains... Go figure.

Any words of wisedom Oh wise woman?

Most of my poems are about a crush or another... As Dani said after I read a few of them to him, ey mah got 24-7 macobe.

Wise woman...no no... I cannot take that compliment.

Well girl, for me the days of crushes are over. The journey that led me to finding my ultimate crush, "The One" is a road that definitely had it's ups and downs.

Oh just so you know "The One" is a bit overrated. There isn't just one person that is perfect for you..there are many...It's just up to you to choose the one you want to keep, and of course, hope and pray that the chosen one feels the same way.

Another thing I could relay is be brave with love... Allow your self to love and be loved. You are an important child of the universe no less than the any of the creatures on God's green earth. Even if you don't think it, the world is unfolding as it should, so you should always strive to be happy.

I like that..."be brave with love...." Almost contracting to the idea of saving your heart that I have embraced for so long. But is very true. "perfect love chases away fear".

I personally am not waiting for "the one". I am looking for a prince. Not a worldly prince, but a man of noble character and a heart for my King. I recently realized, though, that looking for a prince also entails discovering the princess in me. It's a little scary because it means I have a lot of responsibility to fix myself up... make sure I have a noble character as well.

Of course you are wise! I mean you may not belief it, but the fact that you have experience and you learned from them make you at least a little wise. Thanx for sharing with me!
